I grew up in a rodeo family. My dad was a PRCA Bulldogger. I spend many hours both at home and on the road warming up or cooling down a team of horses. This image felt so familiar to me. I had to paint it. Many in my circle thought I had painted my sister. But this could be any young woman in the rodeo life.
