Driving north of Boulder one late afternoon I was captured by the site of these silos. I was intrigued by the shadows defining the shapes. The melting snow and colors of the foreground were a nice contrast the the cool colors in the metal. I was focused on the shadows so the rest of the painting was less detailed. This was one of those works that just flowed.
