I took a trip to Hilton Head with my friend to visit her new condo on the beach. She wanted a very large painting above her couch. This was a study for something simple and abstract. The final version ended up being over 6 feet wide. Of course it looks a little different than this one because scale tends to change everything. But it was a fun loose piece and I had fun changing my painting approach.
